Revenge of the Spammed!
About 2 days ago, I started to receive spam for mortgage refinancing. The thing that made it stick out was that it was sent to me with my dad's name and the actual correct address. I know it is not too complicated to do, but I was shocked at how it connected the name to the email address. After 3 or 4 hours of watching it come in nonstop, I researched the source daleqhay.
IM Fight
I should be watching the debate, you know "hard work", "flip flops" and all, but this is just hilarious so I had to post it. Ironic how I can almost relate to it.
Two guys are having an instant messenger fight. (note: Quicktime movies opens, rated G, don't worry).
Indian Conspirators?
I was thinking about something and for some random reason typed 'india' into google. The first link was puzzling. I got the CIA - The World Factbook -- India.
One would have to wonder how that got to be the first link? :-) (Please don't take that too seriously).
Gmail Invites: Take 1
Okay, I'm giving out Gmail invites. I know most people probably already have one by now. However if you're still desperately searching or you don't know any geeky friends, you're welcome to get one from me. Get 'em while they're hot!
Don't reply to this post. Just use my contact link on the side.
9/7: Still have a bunch.
Trying Out Gmail
Thanks to fellow Indian blogger Prasenjeet Dutta, I can now join the "geek elite" and say I have a (highly coveted) Gmail account. So far I haven't really tried anything out. The 1GB of space seems really nice. The thing I'm most pleased about is that I got the login name I desired. Without giving out the address, I want to see if it will accumulate spam like both Yahoo and Hotmail do.
