I copied the title of this post directly from the CNN news article. To me, I find it very misleading. My first impression to "nonwhite" is that they were trying to say "black" as in African American, but did not want to use those words. After reading the article however, you find that they are referring to an American born Indian: Bobby Jindal. U.S. Rep. Bobby Jindal became the nation's youngest governor and the first nonwhite to hold post in Louisiana since Reconstruction when he carried more than half the vote to defeat 11 opponents.

My parents placed my siblings and me into a private elementary school in the hopes of getting an optimal education. Often at times "private school students" is synonymous with "rich kids". So when a facility or resource is not available due to the smaller student body, usually the parents will have to pay extra (umm, extra extra) to provide this for their child. Case in point. Okay, I finally put up my India pictures. Sadly they didn't come out at well as I hoped. I think maybe the film got a little bad (curse that Mumbai heat!!!). I was thinking about something and for some random reason typed 'india' into google. The first link was puzzling. I got the CIA - The World Factbook -- India. One would have to wonder how that got to be the first link? :-) (Please don't take that too seriously).
